The Super2 is a clear two ply head with great attack, projection, and depth. Aquarians Vaccum Tuned process reduces air trapped between the combined 7mil and 5mil plies for a more musical 2 ply tone. The patented Safe-T-Loc hoop prevents the head from slipping, and the Sound Curve collar design provides "Responsive Tuning." With Aquarian's Vacuum Tuned process, one turn of the drum key and the Super-2 head react like a warm, single ply head.
The Aquarian Response 2 is a two-ply head manufactured with Aquarian's multi-ply vacuum tuned process that eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles from between the two 7mil plies. The Modern Vintage II features a special vintage texture coating that has the look, the feel and the warmth of a simulated calfskin head. The two 7mil plies add depth and durability with resonance and a musical, full frequency tone. These heads look as good as they sound with a big, open sound on toms and bass drums, with added low frequencies to the snare drum.
The Performance II is a two ply head manufactured with Aquarian's Vacuum Tuned Process which eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles between the two plies. The two 7mil plies are only sealed at the edges which tame unwanted overtones and puts a focus the low frequencies. The PFII is designed for loose tuning to deliver that low, fat, punchy tom-tom sound that were a big part of classic rock and roll records. Frequency control that adds focused power is built right into this head. The PFII is a great head to use to upgrade the sound of low priced kits.
The Reflector line of heads, inspired by drumming great Eric Moore, feature a new 2 Ply Hybrid Film combination that enhances the stick attack when played at higher volumes. A NEW 17 mil Aquarian Hybrid film combination makes Reflector heads more articulate, deliberate and durable. The bottom ply uses a black heavy-duty 10mil drumhead film which is denser and brighter than our standard drumhead material. A top layer of Aquarian’s Classic Nu-Brite 7 mil drumhead film is added for warmth. The result is a two ply head that is warm and musical at lower volumes; brighter and more articulate when played hard. This unique 17mil hybrid combination has a black reflective appearance and is meant to be played HARD and FAST and with PASSION!
The Force 10 uses two 10mil plies of Aquarian Nu-Brite drumhead film to create a head with a greater attack, greater depth, and a quicker decay. The patented Safe-T-Loc hoop prevents the head from slipping, and the Sound Curve collar design provides "Responsive Tuning." This clear, 20mil thick batter head is right at home with large drums and 'heavy hitters.' Also available in a texture coated version.
The DEEP VINTAGE II presents an option for using deeper sounding heads on contemporary drums without the loss of resonance. Aquarian's multi-ply vacuum tuning process eliminates dead air spots and adds depth and durability to these two 10mil plies. The slightly thicker vintage coating is for more than just a classic look; it slows the vibration of the head and results in a lower, warmer tone with a softer feel. The DVII bring the truly authentic sound of traditional calfskin heads to the modern drum and drummer, but with better performance results and they look as good as they sound!
